Grey Owl Standup Paddles
We're pleased to introduce the new line of Grey Owl Stand Up paddles.
Grey Owl have selected Fen Paddle Company as their sole agents for their four models to suit all skill levels starting with an economical entry point for those who are new to the sport through to an elite level composite for those who want to catch a wave in the big surf.
These robust, yet light weight paddles can be individually sized for boarders of all heights.
A. STILL WATER
This economical model is an excellent entry level paddle. It has a laminated ash and bass shaft with a seven lamination bass and butternut blade. The blade has a flat powerface with a cambered back and plastic tip. The handle is an oiled maple T-Grip.
B. & C. WAVE RIDER
This beautiful hybrid paddle is available in two blade sizes. The larger (20") blade is designed for the larger, more powerful paddler, while the smaller (17") blade is best suited for younger paddlers and ladies. Also, the smaller blade is best suited for high cadence paddling over longer distances. The blade is designed with our unique curved tip which allows for and easy ’catch’ and blade release. Construction features include an eleven lamination blade of ash, bass, cherry, walnut and cedar. The blade is protected with a plastic edge and fiberglass coating. This paddle has a varnished modified mushroom grip and a tapered carbon fibre shaft.
D. SURF LINE
Our ’top of the line’ model is a rugged, light weight, full composite design offering all the features one would expect from an elite level paddle. Starting with the cambered foam core blade, its knife-edge allows for clean, powerful strokes. The carbon fibre shaft is fitted with your choice of a composite palm or T-Grip. This paddle is designed for high performance flatwater training and big surf boarding.
